It is important to remember that a high-quality translation cannot be done "on the cheap". Companies that offer translation rates that are significantly lower than the market rate for a particular language are generally able to do so by using untrained translators/students and/or providing inadequate quality control. Also, prices that are considerably higher than the market rate do not necessarily mean a higher quality translation, but perhaps an unusually high mark-up in relation to the actual cost of the translation, high business costs - e.g. large CBD offices and non-productive staff or poor quality outsourcing. 

NTIS New Zealand Translation Service  prices vary according to length, difficulty and format of your required translation. You can get a free and confidential without obligation quote by emailing or faxing the documents to us. While some companies give you a price per word we like to see the documents to be translated before we give you a quote. This enables us to give an accurate quote and timeline without any misunderstandings. We have a low minimum charge for small jobs and offer substantial discounts for larger volumes of work.

Due to our use of 'Translation Memory Software' we are able to offer substantial discounts on larger projects or to our ongoing clients.

For international clients the lower cost of living in New Zealand, the relatively weak New Zealand dollar and the fact that we do not add 12.5% New Zealand sales tax means we are very competitive by world standards.
