How long does a translation take?

A professional translator can translate between 150 to 400 words per hour depending on the subject and content and whether translation memory software is being used.

We quote our work as follows....

Smaller jobs can normally be completed within 2 to 3 working days minimum with an extra 2000 - 3000 words per day (again depending on the subject and language).

If your job is urgent phone us and we will advise you on the earliest possible timeframe. We are able to offer a 24 hour service and a 4 hour service for rushed jobs Please be aware that extra costs are charged for this.  We will discuss this with you when you speak to us.

Timeframes for longer jobs normally depend on the language and the difficulty of the source document. Expect over 3 working days for jobs over 5,000 words or in a less common language.
