Some examples of our work to date.

1. A large travel company in New Zealand urgently required an interpreter to meet and assist  passengers of a cruise ship arriving in Picton for one day. NTIS New Zealand were able to quickly dispatch an interpreter with expert knowledge of the area. The interpreter arranged day fishing trips, local sightseeing and gave general information and assistance to ensure the day ran smoothly for the non-English speaking tourists.

2. A large tour company from Asia had a 3 day gap for their clients staying in Christchurch, New Zealand. Some of these clients wished to spend some of this time in Nelson and the top of the South Island. NTIS New Zealand  arranged flights and accommodation, collected the clients from the airport, briefed them in their own language and then delivered them to their hotel. The following 2 days the small group participated in guided winery tours, craft tours, scenic tours, and visited other local attractions. The guides were native speakers of the groups' language but also had expert knowledge of the region. NTIS New Zealand also provided a free advice and booking service for these clients during their stay.

3. A couple had recently arrived in New Zealand from Japan. They had heard about the Nelson region but were reluctant to travel there as the Japanese support they had already arranged with another company was based in Christchurch. NTIS New Zealand arranged a package which included the best accommodation, tours of local attractions in Japanese, car hire and support  to send them to their next destination. NTIS New Zealand also ensured that they received assistance in 5 other New Zealand cities.
